Lextech Labs provides access to critical video, anytime, anywhere using mobile platforms for distributing live and recorded operational video. Our federal agency, law enforcement, university and enterprise customers depend on our solutions for mobile investigations, live incident management and remote inspections using iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Blackberry devices.
We are poised to create new markets for the use of operational video both for physical security and the broader use of video for operational value and want a hard driving person to help us do that.
You’ll be responsible for positioning and selling mobile video solutions for the government and private sectors, managing and growing new clients and new markets, and participating in mobile application industry events to both represent our company as well as scout new client opportunities.
Lisle, IL location preferred but we’re open to other key U.S. locations such as Virginia/DC.
Job Requirements:
- 5 + years of software solution sales experience, ideally within the mobile space
- Experienced using Social Media for client/prospect and brand development.
- Strong ability to understand solution selling versus selling widgets. Working with customers to solve business problems in their organization using video solutions with a demonstrated ability following the solution selling sales process.

We are looking for a developer (2-5 years of experience) with solid Java background (Java web stack, server side standalone apps or GUI apps). The developer will build applications for our video surveillance mobile solutions incorporated across the world. This is a great opportunity to grow your knowledge of mobile technologies while building innovative Java solutions. You will have to think outside the box and tackle challenging problems. Our software is used by many government agencies and therefore this candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. This candidate must have good communication skills, a both written and verbal. Prior mobile app development experience (any platform) is a plus. Any experience with network connected apps (http, raw sockets or otherwise) is welcome.
You’ll be working on our next generation mobile clients as well as Java based server side software and have the chance to touch a wide variety of real world uses of video in Federal agencies, law enforcement, public safety and enterprises.

POSITION:
Mobile Developer – Android, Blackberry, iPhone
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Think, design and then build (frequently used brain a must)
Understand requirements and big picture view of the system to be developed
Develop quality software in multiple languages & platforms
Quickly learn new technologies (concepts, tools, utilities) and be productive with them
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years hands on software development in Java
1+ year of Android or Blackberry mobile development
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with network software development (http, raw sockets or otherwise)
DESIRED SKILLS:
Streaming video or video codec experience
Server side Java and/or PHP
Objective C & iPhone development
Systems level knowledge including scaling systems in multi-server environments, load testing, interfacing many disparate systems, fault tolerance & security is a plus
REQUIRED SKILLS:
U.S. Citizenship required
Excellent written, documentation and communication skills
Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
Ability to quickly learn new systems and work well in a team

The right candidate will have 3-10 years of marketing experience, preferably a mix of B2B and B2C. A strong interest in technology and the ability to translate technical jargon to business value is a must. This role is both marketing content producer and manager.
Role Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, implement, and evaluate the success of short term tactical marketing plans
- Identify and evaluate potential markets for products and services
- Support business development with sales presentations & materials
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and adjust future plans accordingly
- Create and maintain compelling content for marketing website and partner portal website
- Maintain social media accounts
- Manage media correspondence
- Provide weekly marketing activity status reports to executive team
- Trade show planning, promotional material creation and vendor management
