The new LexRay solution includes a server component that not only secures the video stream from end to end but also optimizes the video for the ultimate mobile video viewing environment, meaning no lag. Up until now many users have found that video camera feeds can be vulnerable and the video delivery had inherent latency.
In real world video surveillance environments, cameras operate on different video management systems. In the current environment, a user would have to use a different mobile client. Lextech Labs has answered that challenge with LexRay. Now users can easily view video from different video sources, even from different vendors, on the same screen. No other mobile platform has that capability.
C3 provided multi VMS support across Milestone and ONSSI but LexRay’s plugin architecture allows Lextech Labs or third parties to quickly create connectors for other VMS platforms. This provides a broader range of compatibility, currently with the addition of Vaytek and ViewCommander.
