Do I need to have IP cameras?
No. Analog/CCTV cameras can be used with our solution by adding an Axis video encoder to your existing your existing CCTV camera.
Can I view video over the cellular network?
Yes, you can view, patent pending technology that optimizes the delivery of video over the cellular network.
How is the video stored?
Video is typically stored in a software product referred to as a video management server. The list of supported video management servers can be found at here. Video management servers are responsible for managing your cameras, storing and archiving video, and performing advanced analytics on the video feeds.
Can your system tell me when to watch video?
That is a function of the video management server (VMS), the VMS could notify a user or group of users of the need to watch a particular camera. C3 allows anytime, anywhere access of you video, both live and recorded.
Does the video flow through any other servers?
No, video always flows directly from the C3 mobile device and the video source itself. This architecture promotes the privacy and security of the video and optimized the real time delivery of the video from the video source to the C3 clients.
Can I watch both live and recorded video?
Yes, you can watch through a split screen with live video, or on a full screen. The solution does include DVR controls for the recorded video.
Will my video be secure?
Yes. C3 was developed with stringent demands on security and privacy. Our software was developed with the requirements of government agencies and law enforcement, where security and privacy are very important. C3 adds at least one level of authentication and multiple levels of data encryption to guard against unauthorized access to any video feed.
