Milestone Guide Lines
Before configuring the iRa C3 web interface for use with your VMS system. The following guidelines should be adhered to. This guide also applies to Onssi systems.
Your milestone user should have the following access privileges (shown below)
Which ever port you access your Milestone server on (usually TCP port 80), needs to be accessible for authentication.
DNS should be properly configured on the Milestone server to reflect it’s fully qualified host name, for example (video1.companyname.com)
If you’re not using a DNS name, ensure the IP address you specify is accessible from the mobile devices you intend to use to connect to the server.
